Rena Clarke

Rena is originally from New Zealand but has been living in Tamora, Australia. Rena was brought up in the wool industry by her family and has spent most of her working life in the sheds. Rena started in the industry as a woolhandler and when she was younger Rena even competed in a few Wool Handling competitions which helped build her confidence. To become a Classer, Rena had to attend Tafe to obtain her Classing trade qualification. As a Classer, Rena is responsible for grading the wool and basically managing the shed, making sure the woolhandlers and presser are doing their job correctly and just keep things moving. Ultimately, Rena's job is to ensure everything is completed to the highest standard so that the farmer gets the best price for his wool.
