Pine Creek Station

Pine Creek Station - famous for it's appearance in the blockbuster movie Mission Impossible - is owned and operated by the Rogers family who have lived and worked at the station for the last 4 years. The main income stream for Pine Creek comes from the shearing run. The Rogers family are very familiar with farm life having grown up on various properties owned by their parents.

 

The family is quite resourceful as the undertake their own lamb marking, mustering, property fencing, pipeling and irrigation work. Julie and the girls also get involved with jobs around the station. 

 

When it comes to shearing time, the family expects the shearing team to be clean, tidy and professional. In return, the Rogers work to provide suitable facilities so that the shearers can performs to their best ability. The Rogers like to set the example by pitching in and demonstrate the quality of work they expect.

 

The Rogers fully supprt the Paewai Shearing no drugs policy. They believe it is important for the industry and know that it makes a difference to the quality of the work produced and also the work environment.

 

Future plans include working to improve the facilities to help make the work as easy and enjoyable as possbile.
