Bono Station

Bono Station

Bono Station is a family owned property located outside of Menindee. Craig Bell and his family have been working the property for the last 12 years and enjoy every moment of it.

Running a sheep station can be a challange and Craig expects the shearing team to be on time, work hard and be able to adapt and go with the flow when things go wrong.

It takes a couple of weeks for Craig to muster and get ready for the shearing team and a week or so to tidy thing up afterwards. Craig likes to ensure that he's able to have the sheep ready to go and to keep them moving through. Overall he expects the job to run smoothly and it only takes one person to cause a ruckas so he expects the team to keep things moving forward.

Craig believes the no drugs policy is a great idea. He says that you shouldn't really have drugs in the industry anyway so it's a great positive step forward and will altimately create better shearers and better teams.

In their spare time Craig and the family enjoy skiing and playing golf. They really enjoy their time working on the station and intend to continue on working and developing the property into the future.
